Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko, during the extraordinary XVI session, has congratulated the residents on the Day of Unity of Ukraine. He said the time for arguing was over. The time has come for unity for the sake of Ukraine.

“We can be different, have different faiths, different views on the development of our city, speak different languages. But we are all united by love for Ukraine, our homeland. It was this love that helped to save Mariupol in 2014 and 2015,” Vadym Boichenko emphasized.

He called on every citizen of Mariupol to support the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to hang out the yellow-blue flag, joining the celebration of Unity Day.

It is worth noting that, according to the decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, now every year on February 16, the Day of Unity will be celebrated in Ukraine at the state level.

Currently, according to the law of Ukraine, measures are being taken to reorganize the territorial defense units by increasing their number. In this regard, it was decided to transfer the property complex in Azovstalskaya Str. to 150 units of territorial defense, which will provide for the needs of the military at a high level.
