On the first Sunday of October, the representatives of education field celebrate their professional holiday. On the eve of the celebration, Mayor Vadim Boichenko congratulated Mariupol teachers. The concert was held in the ‘Ukrainian House’ Palace of Culture.
In the hall of the palace, city centers of creativity and extracurricular activities presented the crafts of their pupils. The Mayor praised the results of children's creativity. Vadim Boichenko noted that teachers shape our future by educating the younger generation.
Most Mariupol teachers prepared the winners of the city, regional and national competitions and olympiads. The best teachers were awarded with diplomas and souvenirs. The most active parental committees were also noted.
Deputy mayor Alexander Kochurin emphasized that today the education sector is a priority for the city council: ‘Next year’s budget is already being formed. We plan to create a special incentive fund in each institution, which you would distribute for yourself’.
The words of gratitude to the teachers were heard from the director of the Department of Education Tatyana Bratchikova and the president of Azov State University Vyacheslav Voloshin.
‘Your work is a symbol of faith to a noble mission. You serve children as a guide to the world of knowledge. Give them the opportunity to reach their potential,’ Tatyana Bratchikova emphasized.
Creative bands of the city joined the congratulations. They prepared a festive program for the teachers.
