A major overhaul of the family outpatient clinic is being carried out based on the Center for Primary Health Care № 4. Comfortable conditions for patients and doctors will be created here. Mayor Vadym Boichenko appreciated the progress of the work.
There will be a nursery on the first floor and an adult outpatient clinic on the second. There will be a modern reception desk, updated reception rooms and comfortable waiting areas. A playground and parking will be created in the adjacent territory. After the renovation, a communal pharmacy will be opened in the medical facility so that residents can purchase the necessary medicines at affordable prices.
“10 thousand people will be served in the outpatient clinic, 3 thousand of them are children. But we are ready to increase patients. There is a high population density at Cheryomushki district and many want to register with our outpatient clinic, because the nearest one is located on Nakhimova Avenue,” Natalya Saplina, head physician of the Primary Health Care Center said.
She added that now more than 70% of the population of the microdistrict has been declared. Due to this, part of the money received from the National Health Service goes to the development and procurement of necessary medicines.
It is worth noting that from 2016 to 2019, more than UAH 465 million was invested in the development of medicine in Mariupol.
