Sessions of the city council

Today, during the session of the City Council, an employee of the second city prosecutor's office has summarized the results of work for the first half of this year. The procedural management was carried out in almost 11 thousand criminal proceedings where about 2 thousand were registered in the current year. Based on the results of the investigation, 312 indictments were sent to the court. Compensated UAH 870 000 of damage. However, the most problems during the report were caused by the problem of surrogate alcohol and small architectural forms.

The main question is when surrogate alcohol will not be sold in Mariupol watering holes. Deputy Anatoliy Sheretko told an illustrative story - in one of the districts the drinks were confiscated for 32 times but the court each time made a decision to return the products to entrepreneurs. In addition, an important question is - where  this ‘alcohol’ is produced and why it is impossible to stop.

According to the head of the Mariupol local prosecutor's office No. 2 Andrei Kramchaninov, this issue will be unconditionally discussed and appropriate measures will be planned. But  Mariupol deputies are inclined to write an appeal to the prosecutor's office.Personally, Vadim Boichenko will also turn to this body. The mayor focuses on three issues. First, why  other cities issue permits to set  small architectural forms in Mariupol? Second - on what basis these forms  are connected to electricity and water supply. The third is to stop selling surrogate alcohol in the city and to show the objects where these drinks are made. In addition, the mayor focused on the work of two judges in one of the districts of the city, one of which gives a refusal to return the surrogate  and the other  one regularly gives positive solutions.

‘We must put an end to this issue. The entire law enforcement branch - the national police, the prosecutor's office, the fiscal services, must conduct a hard work in relation to those newly formed objects that appear at night and with the help of other cities’,
the mayor of Vadim Boichenko stressed.

According to the deputies, official appeals to the prosecutor's office will activate the liquidation of illegal small architectural forms and help remove surrogate drinks  from the sale.
