The leaders of the medical group from Turkey have come to Mariupol on a return visit. It is worth noting that last weekend Mariupol delegation headed by Mayor Vadym Boichenko paid a working visit to municipal and private hospitals in Turkey for expertise and study of best practices.

The delegation was accompanied by the deputy mayor Olena Paramonova. She showed the guests the conditions of medical care in the municipal noncommercial enterprise ‘Mariupol territorial medical union of child’s and woman’s health’. The neurological, diagnostic, surgical and trauma departments were examined.

Natalia Sidorenko, head physician of Mariupol territorial medical union of child’s and woman’s health, noted: ‘Significant changes have taken place in our department, both in the external appearance and in the internal content of the department itself. It treats children with neurological pathologies not only from our city, but also from all over Ukraine. It is very important for these children and their parents to be in comfort. An important element in the renovation was the installation of a lift to the upper floors of the hospital’.

The Turkish representatives were shown the converted wards, new renovations in the rehabilitation hall and a relaxation area between procedures. A dining room, an aquarium with fish, TVs and a relaxation room were installed in the building after renovation.

The guests will spend two more days with a working visit to Mariupol.
