At the meeting of the executive committee, decisions have been made on the issues of reconstruction and construction of new infrastructure facilities. More than 10 projects were submitted and approved. Among them there is the arched pedestrian fountain in Freedom Square.
About UAH 25 million will be allocated for the construction of an arched fountain in the city center. Its length will be about 9 meters. A unique project for Ukraine was presented by the head of the capital construction department of Mariupol City Council, Galina Sheichenko.
Vadim Boichenko noted that the construction was possible with the support of the governor of the Donetsk region, Alexander Kuts.
Besides, Galina Sheichenko made a report on other technical projects during the meeting. She presented a plan for the overhaul and improvement of the adjacent territory of the school-gymnasium No. 27. The total cost of the reconstruction will be about UAH 71 million.
There will also be built new sports grounds on the basis of schools - № 7, 16, 33, 40, 48. Fence and lighting will appear on the repaired playgrounds of educational institutions. There are schools No. 7, 14, 17, 25, 52 among them. They will also reconstruct the football field in the Central District of Mariupol at 301Shevchenko Blvd. They will build a sports complex on the basis of the football field of School 67. And the sports center on Primorskiy Boulevard near ‘Azovstal’ yacht club. Large-scale changes in the format of school playgrounds have become possible with the support of the Shakhtar football club.
At a meeting of the executive committee, a project was approved for the construction of a swimming pool in Levoberezhniy region. Vadim Boichenko stressed that the pool should be in every district of the city and active work is being done in this direction. They also approved a project for the overhaul of the administrative building, on the basis of which the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership will be created.
