Since the launch of the ProZorro system, the amount of savings is over 200 million UAH. It was announced by Mykhaylo Ivchenko, the Head of the Tender Department, at the briefing today.
The work of improvement the procurement system was held over the past period. So, Mariupol was able to save 100 million UAH only for the first six months of this year. This amount is equal to the total for 2016.
“This indicator speaks for itself, - Mykhaylo Ivchenko said. - We needed to find points of contact between the business and our customers in order to build the most efficient system”.
According to him, the main factors contributing to this result are the support of the Mayor, deputy corps and public associations. Also, these are actions aimed at increasing transparency of procurement: the introduction of ‘Social Inspector’, joining the DoZorro public portal and competition, which everyone participates on equal terms.
