Today a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Education Workers has taken place in the Left Bank Palace of Culture. 32 Mariupol teachers received diplomas and certificates for conscientious work. Mayor Vadym Boichenko handed over keys to the flats to six people.
‘The key value you instill in us is choosing the right way of life. It was you who brought up the doctors who are saving our lives today, who have trained talented architects who breathe new life into our city. Due to you, a new transport model has been launched, because you have trained those talented drivers and engineers. You are sculptors, architects of the future. Due to you, each of us reveals his abilities,’ the Mayor stressed.
Olexandra Prilepskaya became one of the lucky ones who received the keys to a new home. She has been working as a biology and chemistry teacher at the №38 grammar school for seventeen years.
‘I still do not fully believe in it. I am very happy and very grateful for such a gift. I came to work at the school right after college and can't even imagine myself anywhere else. Children give a lot of positive energy and give bright emotions’, the teacher tells.
Vadym Boichenko admitted with money certificates the teachers who prepared the winners of international Olympiads and competitions. Money certificates were also awarded to parents for active participation in the city program "Responsible Parenthood".
