Today the city mayor Vadym Boichenko has met with the delegation from Kryvyi Rih. The main topic is the development of HOAs and the effective management of the city. The representatives of HOA admitted that Mariupol gives the support to the HOAs. There are no analogs in Ukraine of such programs in our city.
“At first it was necessary to stabilize the city economy before talking about the development. In 2016 we started with zero budget of the development. Having formed the strategy, 14 directions of the work in the medicine, education, culture and public utility sector have been formed. In 2018 the budget of development was 40% from the city budget. The massive reconstruction is been held and the transport is renovated. Due to its transparency, Mariupol attracts international partners. It all gives the city new opportunities”, Vadym Boichenko admitted.
Today Mariupol is one of the leaders of transparency. The world financial corporation and international partners cooperate with the city.
The support program of HOAs is active in Mariupol. The municipality is working in the team with the residents in this direction. Sharing the responsibility with the city, Mariupol residents administer funds and direct them for the top priority payment. This approach gives a result, major repair works of communication networks and roofs are held in the apartment buildings, energy efficient projects are realized, the improvement of entrance halls and building surroundings is held. Being a guarantor of positive changes, the city mayor signs memorandum of accomplishment of 5 points: two structural elements, two mini-projects and a “Cosy yard”.
