In the Primorsky district, a large-scale reconstruction of school №26 is being continued. This is one of the biggest repairs. The school will become a methodical educational center of the Prymorsky district. Mayor Vadym Boichenko inspected the progress of the work.
“According to the strategy of infrastructural rebirth of educational institutions, a support school will be opened in each district of Mariupol. There are three components to this work: teachers, the learning process and the infrastructure. Not only the conditions of training are important, but also qualitatively prepared teachers and the smooth process of work. By creating comfortable conditions, we want to maximize the potential of teachers and their students. This is the only way to achieve the maximum result ",

Today, dismantling and installation works are being completed, engineering networks and windows have been replaced, electrical wiring and internal heating systems have been laid and a modern fire alarm system has been installed. Additional evacuation exits are arranged. 95% of the facade is finished. A novelty was the use of a membrane roof and a self-leveling floor. Window sills in the corridors have become a comfortable place to sit. On the ground floor they arranged a spacious dining room and a wardrobe. It is planned that after the reconstruction the school will be able to accept about 900 students.
Improvement of the school territory is being continued. There will be a spacious football pitch, a basketball court, a training sector for high jump and sports simulators. The new energy-saving lighting will allow you to train until late in the evening. For example, Mariupol residents of all ages will be able to attend free sports classes from PU "M.Sport".
In addition, the school will have a full-fledged cultural center. There will be sections and events for children, a theater club and a mini-museum. A spacious gym is going to be the epicenter of active life.
