Today is the Day of the Deputy, the representatives of all factions discuss the city's budget for 2022. Mayor Vadym Boichenko spoke about key areas and future projects. About UAH 1.3 billion  are allocated to the development budget of Mariupol.

Vadym Boichenko recalled that the draft Strategy-2030 has already been formed. Each direction in the city budget is tied to new goals. They are based on three pillars - comfort, emotion, and economy.

“The budget can be described as a budget for improving the comfort of the population. Particular emphasis is placed on social projects - support for condominiums, the new program "City without suburbs", road repairs, and the development of a transport model. 2022 will also begin to "open" our investments for the implementation of projects on street lighting, a water treatment system, a solid waste processing station, "the Mayor emphasized.

He added that the development budget is about UAH 1.3 billion. Thus, despite all the difficulties and challenges, Mariupol does not reduce the amount of funding for the development of all areas. In addition, it has great prospects to increase the number of projects that will help make the city even better.

The key projects that will open up new opportunities for the city's development in 2022 are the construction of an asphalt concrete plant, the completion of the reconstruction of the Left Bank embankment, and the creation of a laboratory center. It is planned to enter the active phase of construction of Depo No. 4, start the construction of a new Multicenter to serve residents of the Central and Primorsky districts, begin the second stage of reconstruction of the Yubileiny Park named after Gurov.
