At the session of Mariupol City Council, the program "City Without Outskirts" has been supported. Its goal is to upgrade the infrastructure in 37 villages and microdistricts in seven areas.
“I am sure that this program will become the same leader as HOA Support Program. It was shown that the community can be included in the process of change, together achieve successful results. The key thing is that residents independently determine what needs to be improved,” the mayor Vadym Boichenko said.
According to the program, 7 key areas of development have been identified. These are asphalting (and repair of sidewalks), street lighting, affordable medicine, updated recreation areas, comfortable education, gasification and central sewerage.
