A new transport model has been presented in Mariupol. More than half a year it was worked up by ‘A+СУкраина’ consulting company within the framework of cooperation with IFC international financial corporation. Transport model will let solve logistic problems intracity.
Vadim Boichenko admitted that an existing transport model of the city became outdated and ineffective. It was taken a decision to process it taking into account present needs and passenger traffic.
In presentation, the representatives of corporation told about performed work to create a model. It was taken a poll and the specialists researched the routes, intensity of motor traffic and passenger traffic. Difficult mathematical calculations were made. The results became the basis for 4-step traffic model that exists in Kiev, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Uzhgorod and many other European cities. While drafting, all the types of vehicles, both private and social, were taken into account. The schedule of city’s net was created with permission of maneuver, speed, the quantity of lanes, capacity etc.
The director of ‘A+С Украина’ Dmitriy Bespalov admitted that in September the specialists will have developed a new scheme of traffic that is going to improve every day trips of the citizens.
