On April 9, the heating season will end in Mariupol. The decision is due to the fact that for three days the average daily temperature in the city exceeds 8 degrees. Hot water will be supplied to homes until May, 1. This was told by the first deputy mayor Mikhail Kogut.
‘Tomorrow we will finish the heating season of 2018-2019 and begin to prepare for the new. We have already defined the front work. An action plan will be defined for each district. We will start the preparation of boilers and networks,’ he said.
Director of ‘Mariupolteploset’ public enterprise Dmitriy Miroshnichenko said that the financial and production plans have already been developed. The company allocated UAH 77 million from the city budget to prepare for the new heating season.
During the year, ‘Teploset’ plans to reconstruct boiler rooms, replace pumping equipment and more than 50 kilometers of heating mains. One of the problems is the debt of the population.
‘Today it is UAH 252 million. First of all, this is due to the revision of the size and principles of the approach to subsidies. The heating network also helps residents draw up subsidies. We cooperate with the Department of Social Protection and district administrations,’ Dmitriy Miroshnichenko said.
It is worth noting, ‘Mariupolteploset’ has also launched a new multifunctional website.
