The implementation of the drainage project of Klenova Balka in Nakhimov Avenue is continued. The construction of the first stage of Central offset is performed now.
According to Galina Sheichenko, the Director of the Major Construction Department, its construction has been begun early this year.
“The construction of the first stage is finished now. In the near future, a reservoir of 4.5 meters high, 12 meters wide and 35 meters long will be covered with ground”, - Galina Sheichenko said.
She stressed that its surface would be planted with perennial plants. The construction of an operating asphalt concrete road in the width of 5.5 meters will be performed.
The construction of the project, which is called ‘Klenova Balka Waterway in Nakhimov Avenue, Primorsky District’, includes four offsets: the Eastern, Northern, Western and Central. The total cost of works is 94 million UAH. The project will be helpful in improving the ecological state of the city, solving the problem of flooding and landslides that interfere with the inhabitants of the houses in this neighborhood.
