Due to the opening of the updated outpatient clinic of the Central Primary Health Care Center No. 4, residents of Cheryomushki microdistrict received high-quality medical care near their homes. Now, during the fight against COVID-19, a mobile medical team and a call center are working on its base to call patients undergoing outpatient treatment. A pharmacy has been opened and a dental office will open in April. 40 000 of Mariupol residents have already signed declarations with therapists of the outpatient clinic. During his working visit, Mayor Vadym Boichenko inspected the renovated building.
The task of the mobile brigade is to quickly identify those infected with the coronavirus and provide the necessary assistance to patients with COVID-19 who are on outpatient treatment. The person describes their symptoms and names, the reasons for which they cannot pass the test. If symptoms are typical for COVID-19, a mobile team visits the patient's home. The patient is examined, blood is taken for a Covid test. After 15-20 minutes, the results are already known, if the virus is confirmed, treatment is prescribed. Besides, medical staff come to patients with an already established diagnosis of coronavirus, who are on outpatient treatment. In addition, there is a call center at the base. Employees make daily calls to Covid patients who are self-isolating at home.
A communal pharmacy was recently opened in the outpatient clinic. Now you can buy the necessary medicines with guaranteed quality, as well as preferential medicines at the affordable price. There are 10 pharmacies in Mariupol in total. Three more will be opened in the near future. In addition, a dental office will be opened on the basis of the outpatient clinic in April.
"Community pharmacies are supplied with medicines from licensed suppliers. They employ professional pharmacists who will never advise you to buy an ineffective medicine and will always advise you to see a doctor. The key task of the municipality is the availability of medicine and the creation of modern conditions for doctors and patients," the Mayor emphasized.
As a reminder, after a major overhaul, comfortable conditions for doctors and patients were created on the spot. On the ground floor there is a children's outpatient clinic with a play waiting area, a mother and child room, on the second - an adult room. In the building, the internal premises, bathrooms with conditions for people with disabilities have been repaired.
A special feature of the outpatient clinic is two different entrances for children and adults so that they do not intersect. An office with a separate entrance for patients with fever and those wishing to be tested for coronavirus is provided. Different entrances create a high level of patient safety.
