‘In order to protect the territory near Mariupol from mines, according to international experts, it will take from 10 to 15 years, as well as huge investments. It’s hard for us to overcome this problem. Therefore, we are grateful for the help of international partners. We continue our mutual work in Mariupol and Ukraine in order to return peace and security,’ Egor Bozhok said.

The opportunity to discuss the direction of work of NATO with the deputy minister was among students of Mariupol State University. Thus, yesterday at the round table, young people shared their attitude to the activities of NATO. According to them, this alliance is the guarantor of security and freedom. Egor Divine himself called NATO the ‘Golden Billion’. He explained this by the fact that the total number of residents of all countries of the alliance is of the order of a billion, and ‘golden’ means successful, confident and prosperous.

He also noted the funding of NATO research projects. They are related to security enhancement. For example, among them there is a 3D mine detector, which was developed by Ukrainian and Norwegian experts. It lets you know which explosive items  are hidden in the ground. This device has already been successfully presented to NATO.
