Planned budget of Mariupol for 2020 is over UAH 3,6 bln

In 2020 the planned budget of the city of own revenues will be more than UAH 3.6 billion. Expected development budget, including external investment - UAH 2.6 billion. European partners' investments will amount to UAH 770 million. Due to it, a number of large projects are planned to be implemented in Mariupol. Mayor Vadym Boichenko said this during the presentation of next year's budget.

According to him, the lion's share of budget revenues is taxes from individuals - almost 80%. This is the result of higher wages.

‘The 2020 budget is a mirror image of last year. It is balanced and strategically oriented. Each sector of the economy received its share in the implementation of the planned projects. This will allow us to fulfill one of our key goals - to be a showcase of the restored Ukrainian Donbass,’
Vadym Boichenko said.

The Mayor paid special attention to the development budget. It has grown through the investment of international partners.

More than 300 million UAH are planned to be allocated from the proposed development budget for utilities. Over UAH 1 billion - for the development of road transport infrastructure. More than UAH 350 million - education, more than 290 million - health, more than 270 million - sports, more than 80 million - a new municipality, electronic Mariupol. About 50 million - housing, support of universities, about UAH 45 million - ecology, more than UAH 25 million – security, law and order.

The planned development budget makes it possible to implement key city initiatives. Particular attention will be paid to the field of medicine, housing and utilities. Among the promising projects are the reconstruction of the Freedom Square, the surgical building of the hospital №1, the repair of the Left Bank Palace of Culture, the repair of schools and kindergartens.
