Mariupol continues to be in the “green zone”. Due to it 40 thousand of the pupils today could start the educational process at schools. The City Mayor Vadym Boichenko checked the maintenance of quarantine meaures at the establishments №36, № 66 and technical lyceum.
Certain instructions of organization of the educational process are developed in Mariupol. All the establishments are supplied with disinfectants in the necessary quantity, the soap, the device for temperature screening and information materials. Also on the floor, with adhesive tape, the restrictions for observing the distance and direction of travel are indicated. Automatic thermal scanners have also been purchased; they measure temperatures by scanning a face and transmit information to the duty station. The creation of conditions for the work of institutions in quarantine conditions requires from the city about UAH 5 million.
Some schools introduced their own procedures of the process of education. Thus, to avoid crowding of children in the morning, classes start at different times. The younger ones - from 8 am and the older ones - from 9.00 or 10.30. New items await students in the methods of acquaintance with a new topic. For example, at school № 66, classes will be based on the "inverted triangle" principle.
«The first lesson is given to the child for self-education. He studies the material, analyzes and remembers the topic. The following 4 lessons are held in the class and they are devoted to work at the mistakes and consolidate the skills. Thus, the process integrates distance education and the work in the class. Our pupils can inure themselves to the independent work and capture of new skills”, the director of school №66 Natalia Rovitskaia admitted.
The lessons for children of school № 36 are held not only at school but in the street as well. The children of junior school study there. This is the first establishment in Mariupol that works as a boarding school. Children study there, they go for a walk and attend creative clubs. There are more than eight at school. Parents take children at 6 pm.
The pupils of Technical lyceum met the city mayor with intellectual and dynamic quest. The pupils shared with their own ideas of the development of Mariupol. According to their idea, high-speed trains run in the "European" city by the sea, factories for processing solid household waste, bicycle parking and modern recreation and entertainment areas have been installed.
Vadym Boichenko asked children to dream and study: “Expanding the boundaries of your consciousness – the dream. Bring your most extraordinary ideas to life. And learn to make your dreams become real improvements for Mariupol, Ukraine and the world. "
