On the eve of the International Day of the Rights of Women and Peace, festive events have been held in Mariupol. Deputy Mayors congratulated women of all districts of Mariupol and the best were given letters and gratitudes from the Mayor.
Thus, women of Primorsky region were congratulated on the spring holiday by deputy mayor Sergei Zakharov in ‘Chaika’ Palace of Culture: ‘Our dear sisters, mothers, friends and grandmothers. You care about us, support and, most importantly, love sincerely. I wish you happiness, strength, love and a good spring mood’.
Deputy Mayor Mikhail Ivchenko emphasized that a woman, like spring, is an embodiment of the beginning of life, its warmth and light: ‘Everything that we do is inspired by you. You always fill our days with meaning. And may there always be a reliable shoulder next to you, let care and joy surround us’.
A concert program has been held at the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic for women of the Left Bank region. The Deputy Mayor Sergei Orlov greeted them: ‘Women not only conquered all professions long ago, but also overtook men in many of them. Thank you for the warmth, affection and coziness that you create. I admire how well you do it’.
The Deputy Mayor Arkady Meshkov congratulated the women of the Central District at the Youth Palace of Culture: ‘We, men, are grateful for your warmth and smiles. I sincerely wonder how you successfully combine roles. You manage to be professionals at work, as mothers and loving wives. You make Mariupol more beautiful and more comfortable'.
Congratulations were received by the representatives of educational and medical institutions, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the police, committee of self-administration of population, promising youth and others.
