During the working visit, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenskiy, Minister of the Interior Arsen Avakov with the participation of Mayor Vadim Boichenko have checked the work of the new Center for Mine Action of the State Service of Ukraine. They got acquainted with its equipment and technology.
Vladimir Zelenskiy noted good conditions and high technical equipment of the Center. It is designed for complex tasks, pyrotechnic works and underwater demining at sea and land. It is provided with heavy and light types pyrotechnic machines, search tools, remote moving kits and others. On the basis of the Center, it is planned to deploy the medical unit for the purpose of providing medical support for the activities of the Center’s employees and citizens.
The President of Ukraine congratulated the rescuers and said that they face a great responsibility.
