Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and Mayor Vadym Boichenko have attended the opening of a unique children's diagnostic center in Mariupol. They got acquainted with the results of the reconstruction and evaluated the filling of the center with modern equipment. Narrow specialists in 17 areas will work here.
The total amount of funding in the project is UAH 26.6 million. UAH 10.5 million were invested by the local budget for capital repairs, and UAH 1.2 million by Metinvest Group. In the purchase of equipment, the city sent 8.1 million and the state - 6.8 million.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine said that the development of health care is one of the key priorities. He noted the need to create a comfortable environment and the availability of qualified personnel in such centers.
The Mayor of Mariupol told the Prime Minister about the results of the work of the cardiac center created with the support of the Government.
Narrow specialists will work in the children's center, which is open on the basis of Mariupol territorial medical association of child health and women. There is a cardiologist, an otolaryngologist, a surgeon, an oncologist and a speech therapist among them. Soft padded stools and playing areas will meet small patients. The rooms are equipped with modern equipment. A diagnostic ECG load system, a dermatoscope and a pulse oximeter have been purchased. The center will operate a unique premium-class radiograph for the Donetsk region.
