During the meeting of the 42 session of the city council, the deputies have reviewed the changes in the Warm Home Program. They concerned the reimbursement of part of the loan amount for energy-efficient work for condominiums and housing cooperatives of Mariupol.
The program involves the thermal modernization of residential buildings. Compensation of material costs is carried out in co-financing. 70% of expenses are incurred by the state, 20% - the city budget and 10% - the residents themselves.
Mayor Vadim Boichenko noted that the project allowed to increase the capacity of condominiums of Mariupol HOAs. He also thanked the governor of the Donetsk region, Alexander Kuts, for supporting this project.
‘Low interest rate makes it possible to change the situation in residential buildings. By means of heat modernization, it is possible to reduce the costs of the coolant by making Mariupol an energy efficient city,’
Vadim Boichenko stressed.
