Vadym Chernysh, the Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, got acquainted with the work of the control centre of Mariupol Trolleys and Trams Administration. Thanks to the work of the modern transportation desk, every resident of Mariupol can in real time track the movement of all types of public transport.

During the trip to Mariupol, Vadym Chernysh visited the modern control centre of Mariupol Trolleys and Trams Administration. Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor, told the Minister that for the city this was a completely new experience: “Previously, this has never happened in Mariupol. But in general, few cities in Ukraine use such systems. Now residents can plan their trips based on the actual location of public transport”.

The new center is a serious software and hardware complex that includes both modern equipment and new software developed by the Lithuanian company Merakas.

“Mariupol residents can follow the public transport with its help, and the employees of Mariupol Trolleys and Trams Administration will be able to plan their work more efficiently, analyzing passenger traffic and speed of transport”, - Vasyl Klat, the Director of the Department for Transport and Communications, said.
