Mayor Vadym Boichenko has met with representatives of "Mariupol" ice hockey club. Coach Alexander Seukand, key striker Volodymyr Cherdak and director of the hockey club Glib Rybalchenko presented their home kit and talked about the preparation of the players for the first match in the championship.
Thus, there are black, red and white colors in the new form. There is a "fighting gull" on the chest - the official logo of the club. Also, there are the waves below - the symbol of the sea. Vadym Boichenko was presented with jersey number 1, with a personalized inscription “Boichenko”.
The Mayor noted the high hockey experience of Mariupol coach and wished the team victory:
“It is important that our children can realize themselves in sports. For this, all conditions are created in Mariupol, the reconstruction of sports centers is underway. The first match will soon take place on the Ice Arena. I believe that our hockey club in the future will not only glorify the city by the sea at the international level, but will also become an example and inspiration for young people. "
In turn, Alexander Seukand emphasized that the team has a strong line-up and that there are all conditions for a decent start.
