Vadim Boichenko meets the Ambassador of France to Ukraine

City Mayor Vadim Boichenko has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins. The parties discussed the implementation of a number of infrastructure projects.

In particular, they discussed water supply project, the project of solid waste landfill and the city sea front project. French party helps Mariupol to realize these projects starting from getting expert evaluation up to investments.

The support of water supply project in Ukraine is among huge and pilot projects for Ukraine. The signed agreement foresees the allocation of EUR 64 mln. According to the document, it is planned to build filter stations, water inlets and renew old water supply networks. Thus, the project will help to solve the issue of alternative resource of water supply, minimize water losses and improve its quality.

‘Mariupol has friendly relationships with France. There are certain paces directed to realize important infrastructure projects for the citizens of our half million city. I am sure that Mariupol will have bright future with such a support’,
Vadim Boichenko admitted.
