Today, Mayor Vadim Boichenko has met with the head of the OSCE office, Pasi Rekila. They discussed security issues and further cooperation.

For the first time, Pasi Rekila arrived in Mariupol last autumn. ‘I see progress that is being effected in the city. I see how infrastructure projects are being implemented here,’ Pasi Rekila shared.

Vadim Boichenko said that the city is moving according to the adopted Development Strategy 2021. Today Mariupol is in the list of safe cities in Ukraine and among the leaders in terms of transparency. For three years, Mariupol has won the trust of national and international partners.

The Mayor emphasized that the life and economy of the city is stabilizing. Mariupol has great potential for development, but today it is constrained by problems associated with external logistics. In addition, Mariupol is working on a new point of economic growth, which is associated with the development of the port.

‘Mariupol today is called to be a showcase of the restored Ukrainian Donbass. We show how you can build a prosperous future with a blue and yellow flag,’
Vadim Boichenko stressed.

In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to continue further cooperation.
