At a meeting of the XLI session of Mariupol City Council, Mayor Vadim Boichenko has noted the athletes for their high achievements, handing them cash certificates. He stressed that they worthy represent the city in the national and international arenas.
‘I am proud of our athletes who glorify Mariupol far beyond its borders. Every year in our city new names are born and new champions appear. This means that we make the right decisions. Those scholarships and awards that our outstanding athletes receive stimulate them to these high achievements,’
Vadim Boichenko told.
Money certificates for high achievements in sport and for winning prizes at the European Boxing Championship were awarded to Dmitry Rybalka and Rostislav Belostotskiy. And also the certificate was given to the multiple winner of the European and World Championships in Athletics among Athletes with Hearing Disorders, Honored Master of Sports in Athletics Natalia Ursulenko.
‘You are a source of pride for each of us. I am grateful that you exist, fight, do not give up and glorify Mariupol and our Ukraine’,
the Mayor noted.
