Vadym Boichenko holds online working conference

City mayor Vadym Boichenko has held an online working conference. The agenda is focused on resistance to the second wave of COVID 19 and the start of the heating season in Mariupol.

“Mariupol developed the accurate algorithms of work with COVID 19 started from making diagnosis of the patient to his stay in the hospital base and the accomplishment up to complete recovery. Today it is important to regulate and control all the processes at each level to react on challenges in a quick way. There is a professional medical personnel, necessary equipment, protective gears and delivery of necessary amount of the oxygen”, the city mayor admitted.

Besides, Mariupol strengthened the work in the direction of laboratory researches. A new laboratory was purchased additionally, that is directed to do the researches of coronavirus by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). It is established on the basis of the city hospital №4. 1905 samples have been done with the help of it. It allows to make an accurate diagnosis and increase the turn in temporary division.

While having working conference, the heads of operating teams reported to the Mayor about current situation on struggle against COVID-19 and readiness of hospital base. They also told about the observance of quarantine restrictions and holding of antiepidemic events by public utilities. It also includes the disinfection of entrance halls and the roads.

Concerning the heating season, PU “Mariupolteploset” is ready to the heating season for 100% with bad weather conditions. Since October 15 hot water is supplied.  PU “Teploset” supplied the heating into hospitals, kindergartens, orphanages and shelters within the frameworks of the struggle with pandemic and decrease of the level of infection rate on October 20-21. Since October 30 it will be given to the residential house. According to the first deputy mayor Mykhailo Kohut, the enterprise gave the heating to all residential buildings, their owners determine themselves to turn it up or not.

“Due to the system work we have been able to support PU “Teploset” and to find the possibility to modernize capacities. We started the heating season on term. We have made all the necessary preparatory works, so now all our public utilities are ready for 100% to the autumn and winter period. The key issue is that the residents will get the heating during cold weather”, Vadym Boichenko stressed.
