Seven people have applied to the City Mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boichenko. Mariupol residents came with requests to help in solving housing problems, communal problems and granting of subsidies.
In particular, a retiree Nikolay appealed to the problem of granting subsidies. In his opinion, when appointing a subsidy, retiree's incomes should be taken into account as it is done for working people for the 3-4 quarter.
The Head of the Department of Social Protection of the Population Andrey Rempel gave explanations on the issue. ‘According to paragraph 11 of Article 848 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, retired people have incomes for a month that precedes the month of charging’, he said.
The text of the Decree:
‘In case of the appointment of a housing subsidy from the beginning of the heating (non-heating) season, the income in the form of a pension is taken into account in the amount of accrued pension for the last month of the previous heating (April) or non-heating (September) season. In case of the appointment of a housing subsidy after the start of the heating (non-heating) season, the amount of accrued pension is taken into account for the month preceding the month from which the housing subsidy is assigned’.
During the reception, a number of other issues were considered. All the issues have been discussed and the tasks have been defined.
