Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor, held a personal reception of citizens and 6 of which were pre-registered. Mariupol residents asked the Mayor to help in solving their topical problems. Citizens worried about a range of issues: from conducting business to resolving conflicting moments and conflicts of land relations, from housing and communal problems to the work of the future Philharmonic Society.
In particular, Volodymyr Ivanovych, a retiree, addressed the Mayor with a request to assist him in the implementation of entrepreneurial activities in the Livoberezhnyi neighborhood. Vadym Boichenko offered the solution of inhabitant's problem through the regional program of stimulation of small business development called ‘Ukrainian Donetsk Kulak’.
Also, the issues of the dismantling illegal small architectural forms and the necessity for the markets and fairs organization were raised at the Mayor’s reception. As for the demolition of illegal trade objects, the Mayor said that there was no such large-scale work carried out in this direction during the history of the existence of Mariupol.
“We introduced systematic work into the trade process in Mariupol, which was not done in the city before”, - Vadym Boichenko said. - More than 80 small architectural forms have been dismantled in Mariupol since the beginning of the year”.
The citizens are concerned with the issues of the housing and communal nature. For example, according to a resident of 68, Italiyska Street, the roof of the house needs major repairs for about 17 years. The possibility of allocating additional funds in order to start a major current repair and put a period to this issue in this September will be considered in the near future.
Vadym Boichenko listened to each resident, all of them were provided with explanations and consultations, and specialized professionals were given instructions.
