You fought for the sake of future generations, for us - your children and grandchildren. You have invested huge forces in the post-war reconstruction of the city. Today we continue to build Mariupol, just like you - for future generations,’
He was joined by the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region, Nikolay Semenishin. He stressed that today the city government pays great attention to security issues.
In turn, the veterans appreciated the Mayor for the positive changes in Mariupol. At the end of the meeting, Vadim Boichenko presented flowers and gifts to all the veterans.
