A solemn event dedicated to the International Day of the Rights of Women and Peace has been held in Chamber philharmonic society in Mariupol. On the eve of the spring holiday, Mayor Vadym Boichenko congratulated the employees of the municipality. The best were noted with diplomas.
‘For each man, dear women are the core that fills life with warmth and love. In the most difficult moment, you are always there, find the right words and give strength to move on. There is a strong woman who stands near a successful man. I believe that our beautiful city is not accidentally named after the Holy Virgin Mary. This is our amulet that Mariupol keeps and you are women, the guardians of our families,’ Vadym Boichenko said.
The employees of local self-government bodies, representatives of the deputy corps and HOAs were awarded with diplomas from the Mayor. At the end of the holiday, honored artist of Ukraine Rostislav Kushina, virtuoso accordionist Yuri Dyakunchak and opera singer Anna Ivanishko accompanied by the Renaissance chamber orchestra performed for all the present.
