Vadim Boichenko greets cadets of Donetsk University of Law on the Day of Knowledge

Students of Donetsk University of Law have celebrated Knowledge Day. The event was held in the building of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region. On the holiday of future law enforcement officers congratulated Mayor Vadim Boichenko.

‘Law students are the face of future security. You have chosen a very difficult but important profession - to serve and protect. Today Mariupol is an example from the point of view of safety. The entire law enforcement system works on this result. Donetsk Law Institute is one of the tools for rebuilding our city. He gives a high level of training,’
Vadim Boichenko stressed.

The head of the Main Division of the National Police in the Donetsk region, Nikolai Semenishin noted that four years ago, more than 1.5 million people went to the police a year. Today - more than 9 million. According to its reputation rating, the regional police is among top five in Ukraine.

‘It indicates that they trust us. Due to the help of the municipality and the Mayor, the Donetsk police performs the law-enforcement function efficiently and in some areas the whole Ukraine takes an example from us,’ Nikolai Semenishin said.

The rector of the institute Viktor Beschastny and the adviser to the governor of the Donetsk region Nikolay Trofimenko congratulated the students on the new academic year.

After congratulations, Vadim Boichenko handed the keys to a new bus to the rector of the Donetsk Institute of law.
