Modern benches, gazebos, swings, a playground and paved roads - this is the way a "Cozy Yard" of "Amurskaya 3" HOA looks like. Such changes were made possible by the city's association support program. Mayor Vadym Boichenko signed a passport on cooperation, which guarantees further support in the implementation of projects.
The chairman of the house Lyudmila Yakovleva said that the house has been in the condominium for five years. During this time it was possible to replace engineering networks, window blocks and overhaul the roof. A special pride of the residents is the "Cozy Yard".
‘HOAs unite residents. They began to communicate more, to beautify the territory together,’ Lyudmila Yakovleva says.
Vadym Boichenko noted that Mariupol will continue to systematically support HOAs. Over the past five years, more than UAH 1 billion has been sent. UAH 282 million has been allocated this year.
‘The changes you see in the city are start with such yards and with the support of responsible heads. We have shared this responsibility with you and we see an effective result. The city offers new opportunities and you manage your own home. Together we make Mariupol comfortable,' the Mayor said.
It is necessary to admit that there are 1282 HOAs in Mariupol that make 62% of a housing stock of the city. This year it is planned to implement 285 mini-projects and create 45 "Cozy yards".
