Mayor Vadym Boichenko has held a meeting with the heads of all factions of the city council. The parties discussed the creation of a new university in Mariupol. Mayor of Mariupol told about it at a briefing.
‘There were a lot of emotions in the session hall yesterday. Perhaps too much from both the city council members and from me personally. Now the emotions have calm down and we all need to return to the language of common sense. We must not allow our emotions to get in the way of Mariupol's development. We are all for the creation of a new university in Mariupol. We must unite in order to create opportunities for children,’Vadym Boichenko said.
The Mayor added that in the near future they will work out in detail possible locations where the university may appear. All solutions will be discussed with the residents of the city.
Vadym Boichenko also added that during the round table we agreed to go out together to the City Garden tomorrow and put things in order there: ‘We decided to hold a cleanup and invite everyone tomorrow at 10.00. I am sure that the City Garden should unite people’.
