Mariupol youth wins various international competitions and projects. Among them - the student of the 34th group of the Mariupol city lyceum Aliona Predkova. She won the Profession of the Future competition and received a trip to the language camp in Hamburg as a gift.

The girl is persistently studying German. This year I have decided to take part in the ‘Profession of the Future’ contest. She shot a short video about new technologies and professions that are associated with them. She won and went to a camp in Hamburg for 10 days. There Aliona met her peers.

'For five days we had programming lessons. The first three days we studied various working methods in special programs and made projects. I liked working with my new girlfriend - Nastya from Belarus. We constantly did very cool projects that others admired,’ Alena shares her impressions.

The last two days they went to a technical university. There they made robots from LEGO, then connected them to a computer and ‘revived’ them in special programs. ‘For example, I and Nastya made it possible for our beautiful robot to drive forward, raise arms, turn on headlights and return. I was very fascinated by this thing, because I had never done this before. It was a shame at the end to part with our robot,’ the girl notes.

During the language camp, she learned a lot about the history of Hamburg and Lübeck. About people and their culture. The girl was amazed by the incredible architecture.

A student of the lyceum found friends from around the world during the trip and also increased her level of English. ‘I believe that such trips are very necessary and important. They help to decide on dreams for the future and maybe even the profession you want to choose,’ Aliona says.
