In Talakovka village a new school sports complex has appeared. It was made a modern mini-football field, a universal platform with basketball hoops and anti-vandal trainers for workout were installed. Mayor Vadim Boichenko and People's Deputy of Ukraine Vadim Novinsky were the first who scored the goals there.
The cost of reconstruction of the sports complex is more than UAH 5 million. Now more than 300 students of the Talakovskaya school can play football and basketball on a modern synthetic grass field.
Vadim Boichenko noted that today the focus is on the development of remote areas and towns, which have not been paid attention to for decades.
According to the people's deputy of Ukraine Vadim Novinsky, the construction of such facilities has become possible due to effective management, openness and transparency of the city government.
Immediately after the opening, the schoolchildren played their first football match in a new field. The right of the first strike on the ball was presented to the guests of honor.
It should be noted that the creation of a modern sports infrastructure became possible due to the re-registration of the Shakhtar football club in Mariupol. This allowed to replenish the city budget by UAH 150 million per year. All funds are directed to the development of sports.
In the current year it is planned to build sports grounds at 10 educational institutions. They will be in schools No. 30, 47, 56, 58, 5, 68, 15, 42, 4 and at the Naval Lyceum.
