School number 46, with in-depth study of the modern Greek language, will become the methodological and educational center of the village of Stary Krym. Energy modernization is being implemented within the framework of one of the key projects for the city - "Mariupol - without suburbs". The main goal is to create cultural, educational and medical centers in every remote area of the city.

The Mayor, Vadym Boichenko, got acquainted with the progress of the renovation of the village school and emphasized the importance of creating comfortable conditions for all residents.

“Our children should receive quality education regardless of where they live. School No. 46 will become a methodological and educational center for the whole district. By increasing the level of transparency and openness of budgetary processes, we were able to attract funding from international partners. By developing each district, we make Mariupol strong and prosperous. Every inhabitant and his comfort are important to us. High-quality infrastructure and municipal services should be available to residents of each district,”
Vadym Boichenko stressed.

As a reminder, in October last year, the Mariupol City Council signed a grant agreement with the Nordic Environmental Finance Corporation (NEFCO). Under its terms, it was possible to attract 600 thousand euros from international donors to finance measures to improve the energy efficiency of the institution. In turn, the rest of the work is planned to be carried out at the expense of the city budget. Thus, UAH 15 million will be allocated by NEFCO and about UAH 10 million - by the city budget.

As part of a major overhaul, all engineering communications will be replaced at the school, the ventilation system will be modernized, metal-plastic windows will be installed, the facade will be insulated and the roof replaced. We have already started sandblasting the facade.

It is worth noting that the repairs will be carried out without interrupting the schoolchildren's learning process. The school already has a modern chemistry room, a sensory room, a LEGO classroom for modeling and robotics and a choreography room. In total, there are about 15 free circles on the territory of the school.
