The advisor is appointed within EUACI program in the City Council

Andrey Yefremov is appointed as an advisor on a voluntary basis. He will help the executive bodies to implement projects that are implemented under the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine Program (EUACI).

The key tasks of the advisor are to ensure effective communication between the Program, contractors, executive bodies and deputies. It will assist the city authorities in developing new procedures and apply the best practices of transparency and accountability of local governments.

It should be noted that EUACI helps Mariupol to introduce tools that help minimize corruption risks and increase management efficiency.

In particular, a city geo-information system is being created which will connect the register of immovable communal property, the land cadastre, the investment map, the budget on the map and the city geoportal. Besides, Deloitte within the framework of the Program on a unique methodology, conducts an assessment of corruption risks and will help develop an effective urban virtue plan.
