Mayor Vadim Boichenko and Ukrainian Peoples’ Deputy Vadim Novinskiy have familiarized themselves with the work of the new Revolution EVO computer tomographic scanner. It is located in Mariupol City Hospital №1. Health workers told the guests about the new opportunities that appeared after the purchase of the new equipment.
According to the chief doctor of the hospital Larisa Mamayeva, the tomographic scanner has no analogues in Ukraine. It makes 128 partitions for one diagnostic session. The pictures allow the most accurate differential diagnosis. Due to this, the doctor will be able to make the correct diagnosis in time.
The equipment was installed in a restored building. All conditions for the comfort of patients and medical workers are made here. Vadim Boichenko noted that proper diagnosis is the key to effective treatment.
The total investment is UAH 28.2 million. UAH 24.9 million were allocated from the city and state budgets for the acquisition of a computer tomograph. UAH 2.9 million was provided by Metinvest Group for the reconstruction of the premises for the placement of computer tomograph. Besides, more than UAH 320 thousand were invested from the city budget to equip with soft and hard equipment.
