Family medicine outpatient clinic is repaired at Cheryomushki microdistrict

The second stage of the overhaul of the outpatient clinic No. 3 of the Central Primary Health Care Center No. 4 (28 Novorosiyska Str.) has been completed. The facade of the building is insulated and thermally modernized. Additional medical equipment has also been installed. The update is implemented in co-financing with the German government, which is being implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund.

First Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Kogut, Director of the South-Eastern Regional Office of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund Vasily Burtnik and Deputy Mayor Elena Paramonova examined the renewed outpatient clinic.

“Cooperation with international partners always gives an effective result. Comprehensive repairs make the outpatient clinic energy efficient and modern. It is equally comfortable for doctors and patients, ” Mikhail Kogut noted.

Thus, this year the roof, slopes, ventilation ducts and basement were repaired, the facade was insulated. The first stage of the overhaul was completed in 2020. Then the internal premises were renovated, the offices were equipped with modern medical equipment and furniture.

We are constantly working to improve the level of medical service. The creation of comfortable outpatient clinics within walking distance is one of our priority areas of work, ” deputy mayor Olena Paramonova emphasized.

The outpatient clinic now provides general family medicine practices. It serves 10,000 adults and 4,000 children. There is also a communal pharmacy and a dental office on the premises.

“We are glad to work with Mariupol, because we see that the municipality is striving for positive changes and is doing a lot for this. Such enthusiasm always inspires, so there are still large-scale joint projects in the plans for the future, ” Vasyl Burtnik, director of the South-Eastern regional office of the Ukrainian Fund for Social Investment said.
