This year, modern sports facilities will have been built at 11 educational institutions. The investments will be about UAH 80 million. The work has already been underway near School 30. It was visited by Mayor Vadim Boichenko.
The cost of reconstruction of the sports complex of this school is more than UAH 5 million. There will be a playground for a mini-football field with artificial turf, a complex for a workout and a universal playground for volleyball and basketball with an acrylic coating.
‘Those objects that will appear this year will be fundamentally different in quality. Acrylic coating is provided at all multifunctional sites. It is more durable, safer and more stable,’ Alexander Kochurin, the deputy mayor said.
Such investments in the development of sports became possible due to the re-registration of the Shakhtar football club in Mariupol.
The Mayor noted that such a modern infrastructure will help introduce the younger generation to the sport.
