Due to the Support Program for condominiums in two associations on the 23rd microdistrict, it became possible to spend leisure time comfortably. New benches, a gazebo, an asphalt road, a playground - all this became possible due to the city program "Cozy Yard". Mayor Vadym Boichenko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with condominiums and spoke with residents.
“The key task is to create comfortable conditions for residents in all districts of the city. This is the result of our common work. You are not afraid to take responsibility. Now you decide on your own what is a priority for your home”, Vadym Boichenko noted.
Iryna Ivanchenko, chairman of the EDEM-5 condominium association, noted that “Cosy yard” united the residents and gave them new opportunities for leisure activities. Children are especially happy who can now walk on a modern playground and ride skateboards and scooters on the asphalt inside the house. Andriy Tymchenko, chairman of the Astreya condominium association, agrees with her.
“Residents now actively go out and jointly plant flowers, clean and relax. We are very grateful to the city that there is such a program that transforms our homes and courtyards”, he stressed.
Vadym Boichenko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the chairmen. He guarantees that the initiatives spelled out in the program for supporting associations will be implemented in this courtyard.
It is worth noting that since 2016, the city has allocated more than UAH 700 million to support condominiums. Funding increases every year. This year it is over UAH 250 million. The plans are to carry out 101 major repairs, implement 288 mini-projects and create 85 Cozy Courtyards.
