The VIII international ‘Musical Leaf Fall’ festival of young performers has been held in Mariupol. This year, 45 young musicians took part in it. The winners award ceremony and a gala concert were held in the concert hall of the chamber philharmonic society.
The winners and participants of the festival were given certificates, diplomas and valuable gifts on the main stage of the city. Anna Ponomareva got Grand Prix.
A jury member, a musician Ostap Shutko noted the importance of this event not only for musicians but also for the image of Mariupol. ‘I am sure that all the participants, upon returning home, will tell everyone about a beautiful Mariupol, about warm, nice people who live here, what a wonderful orchestra and what a wonderful philharmonic society is here,’ he stressed.
The best participants together with the Renaissance Orchestra gave the audience a concert of academic music by world-famous composers.
