The overhaul of the road surface and sidewalks along Pobedy Avenue has been completed in Mariupol. The asphalt surface and the kerb were replaced, plastic markings appeared on an area of about 25 thousand square meters. Mayor Vadim Boichenko and People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vadim Novinskiy appreciated the results of the work.
Director of ‘Mariupolavtodor’ public commercial enterprise Dmitry Chuchmay said that gravel-mastic asphalt concrete, which is highly durable, has been laid on new roads.
In addition, the sidewalk and road kerbs are replaced with granite. New stopping pavilions were installed along the avenue. The tiles are laid on the sidewalks. It meets new standards - its thickness is 8 cm.
In total, more than UAH 140 million from the city budget were allocated for the implementation of the project. The Mayor and Vadim Novinskiy praised the work done.
Besides, a new technique of municipal utilities of the city was demonstrated in Pobedy Square. It has been purchased this year. There are buses, a low roader, truck cranes and a road roller of German manufacture.
