A tourist fee rate has been set in Mariupol. It will be charged from people who have stayed in our city. The decision was made at the XL City Council session.
According to it, when paying for the cost of living, part of the funds received in payment for accommodation, will be transferred to the city budget. The foreigners and the citizens of Ukraine staying at the hotel, hostel, holiday home, boarding house, apartment house or apartment will pay it.
The tourist fee rate is 0.1 percent of the minimum wage that came into force on January, 1 of the corresponding budget year. It is the only one for both domestic and foreign tourism.
The residents of Mariupol, including those who live here under an employment contract, are exempted from the fee. Persons with disabilities, veterans of war, Chernobyl veterans, children under the age of 18, as well as persons who arrived for medical treatment or rehabilitation will not pay the tax.
