At a meeting of the executive committee, a number of work projects for upcoming reconstructions has been approved. Among them, there is the arrangement of sports grounds on the basis of schools in different areas of the city and a large-scale project for the reconstruction of the underpass.
The report on this issue was made by the head of the capital construction department Galina Sheychenko. The total cost of reconstruction of the transition is more than UAH 23 million. The design estimates have already been developed, which provides for the overhaul of steps and interior spaces. They will dismantle the existing stalls, later they will be equipped in the same style. The project also provides for the complete replacement of electric networks, the improvement of the adjacent territory and the installation of lifts for people with limited mobility and baby carriages.
Work projects for the construction of sports grounds at schools No. 16, 36, 40 and 48 were approved. The total cost of the projects is about UAH 24 million. The decision provides the construction of universal sites, their equipment with vandal-proof simulators, equipment for treadmills, landscaping of the surrounding area and the installation of street lighting.
It is worth noting that the equipment of modern sports grounds was made possible due to the re-registration of Shakhtar football club in Mariupol. This brought additional annual budget revenues of UAH 150 million.
