Mariupol deputies have voted for a draft decision to support associations of co-owners of apartment buildings for 2021-2026. The program provides for the creation of another 840 "Cozy Courtyards" and the implementation of 904 major overhauls.
Serhiy Marchuk, Director of the Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Development Department, said that today more than 1000 apartment buildings are in condominiums, which is 56% of the total. Then, like back in 2016, it was only 4%. Over the past five years, 452 major overhauls, 420 "Cozy Courtyards" and 1331 mini-projects have been completed.
‘The result was achieved due to the successful implementation of the Condominium Support Program. Now it is important to continue the path begun. We support the residents of houses, their desire to improve living conditions, comfort and coziness of housing. This is another step towards the further development of Mariupol,’ Sergei Marchuk said.
Thus, by 2026, it is planned to increase the number of condominiums to 1,721 houses, which is 90% of the city's multi-apartment housing stock. The volume of investments will amount to more than UAH 2 billion. In particular, it is planned to implement 904 major overhauls, 840 "Cozy Courtyards" and 2662 mini-projects.
