Today there has been led the meeting of the executive committee. It reviewed more than 30 questions. The plan of work of the city fair, the approval of working projects for reconstruction and major repairs were the main topics of the discussion.
Thus, Yevgeniy Bodyagin, the Director of the Department of Economic Affairs, made a report on the conduct of fair trade in Mariupol in 2019. This decision is annual. It is aimed at organizing trade and saturating the city’s market with products of local producers.
Within the framework of the project, district administrations and representatives of self-organizing committees of the population worked out fair trade locations. As a result, they were divided into three categories: regular, seasonal and holiday. Regular fairs will be held once a week, they are designed to provide residents with essential products. On seasonal - they will sell seasonal products (for example, flowers and seedlings). At the holiday you can buy souvenirs and gifts.
Altogether, 38 locations have been approved in Mariupol, where 403 trade objects are envisaged. Particular attention was paid to distant areas of Mariupol.
‘The main change in the work of fairs is the exclusion of direct contact of businessmen with the department of economics and employees of the municipality. This will make the process even more open. Now entrepreneurs and all those who wish to take part in the fair can contact the Center for the provision of administrative services. After that, within the prescribed time, they will receive an invitation to the location of the fair trade, ‘Yevgeniy Bodyagin said.
According to him, this approach will allow to get away from portable trade in the central streets of Mariupol. Also during the meeting, the executive committee approved a draft overhaul of the communal institution ‘Central District Social Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children’ . The project provides for the complex insulation of the building, the replacement of the roof, the improvement of the interior and the overhaul of the networks.
